education
Idaho State’s College of Education is dedicated to
preparing educators and leaders to serve in a range of
contexts, including K-12 schools, businesses, community
organizations, higher education, sport management, and
more. Our talented and passionate faculty offer students
a personalized educational experience with a focus on
learning by doing and reflective practice. College of
Education students are graduating ready to excel, to
make a difference, and to change lives.
The college houses four departments: Human
Performance and Sport Studies, Organizational Learning
and Performance, School Psychology and Educational
Leadership, and Teaching and Educational Studies. The
departments of the College of Education also include
Idaho’s only School Psychology, Deaf Education, and
Outdoor Education program.

Kasiska Division of
Health sciences
ISU is Idaho’s health care university. The Kasiska
Division of Health Sciences offers 75% of the state’s
health profession degree programs, with a number of
outstanding campus and outreach clinics, including
medicine, dentistry, dental hygiene, pharmacy,
audiology, speech pathology, nursing, physical therapy,
vestibular (balance) therapy, and more. With the College
of Health, College of Pharmacy, and School of Nursing,
one-third of ISU’s student body is made up of health
science students and learners in Pocatello, Meridian,
Caldwell, Twin Falls, and Idaho Falls, Idaho, along with a
pharmacy cohort in Anchorage, Alaska.
